A Fortnight of Complete Darkness!

A Fortnight of Complete Darkness!

And you know I wasted 2 hrs. trying to understand this is true or what.
The orbit of Earth around Sun is longer than Venus. Supposing the planets move in a plane (I don't know so far, I guess they move in non-co-planer orbits) then only there is possibility that Venus would block the light coming from sun to reach earth. And this has happened a year or two ago when we saw Venus as a dim spot on a bright sun. But as far as Jupiter is concerned the orbit of Jupiter is much longer than the earth.
In short, The Mercury is very near to Sun, Then Venus is far more away in comparison to Mercury. Then is Earth. then Mars and then Jupiter and after that Saturn. So there is no chance that Jupiter could ever come between Sun and Earth even if the planets are co-planer (move in the same plane) or not. This causes a doubt about the truth of the said report of NASA where-in this prediction / forecast is given.
There is yet another reason what NASA claims as the cause of 15 days of darkness. I don't know how far that is correct.
If that is true, let us wait, see and enjoy.
I don't know if there is another such event people on earth could have witnessed so far on Earth.
There is one such recorded example though, when during the war of Mahabharata Sun appeared to have set and Karna was getting ready to retreat, because the war was prohibited after sun-set. Then Srikrishna suggested to Arjuna : The sun is not yet set it will set after a few minutes. And Arjuna cast his arrow upon Karna. Caught unaware, Karna was killed. Later on Srikrishna told him :
Arjuna! There are many explanations, all true :
1.I commanded the Earth to move away from its regular path for a while so that sun looks as if has set. And Earth complied to my command.
2.It was destiny which is neither mine nor your's but Cosmic Collective.
3.It was according to laws of Astronomy but only I know and neither you nor anyone (including Karna) else knew.
