जागृतादित्रयोन्मुक्तं
The 'self' is a tiny point of :
consciousness / conscious attention
moving in its own:
Timeless and Spaceless dimension.
This is citta / चित्त, the individual 'self', while the Mind is the collectivity of all the possibilities that may happen to 'it'.
When this 'it' refers to the 'self', it's the individual's life as such, but when this 'it' refers to the collectivity of and as the Whole, it's the Ishwara-Principle.
The two relevant introductions of the two UpaniShad, namely the
मुण्डकोपनिषद् and the ईशावास्योपनिषद् describe this aspect of The One, The Single and the Whole Reality through the following two verses respectively :
जागृतादित्रयोन्मुक्तं जागृतादिमयंस्तथा।
ॐकारैकसुसंवेद्यं यत्पदं तन्नमाम्यहम्*।।
(*तत् प्रणमाम्यहम्।।)
And;
ईशिता सर्वभूतानां सर्वभूतमयंस्तथा।
ईशावास्येन सम्बोध्यमीश्वरं तं प्रणमाम्यहम्*।।
(तन्नमाम्यहम्।।)
Another way of expressing the same Truth is through the words :
God, Guru and Self
ईश्वरोगुरुरात्मेति मूर्तिभेदाविभागिने।।
व्योमवद् व्याप्त देहाय दक्षिणामूर्तये नमः।।
