AND THE FEAR OF BEING LOST.
Mind or the Individual consciousness is a funny thing.
There is this Fear of Missed Out,
Then,
There is this Fear of Finding Out -
Something which one doesn't want to see and come face to face with.
For example when a suspicion raises its head.
Like if you've contracted Covid-19.
Then still there is yet another one :
The Fear of being found out by those who you don't want to see or talk to.
They have named These conditions : FOMO and FOFO.
Maybe the last one could be given the name :
Fear of Being coming Face to Face with the Reality, which one always tries to run away from.
And what about when you come across :
The Fear Of Being Lost?-
FOLO?
I wonder if there is anyone on the earth who never had this fear.
In the first place, isn't this fear quite an irrational and illogical too?
How could one possibly be Lost?
Possibly Maybe for others but could one be Lost to oneself?
One can say :
I was Lost in thoughts,
My mind was distracted.
This is really the beginning of the ignorance about the Reality of oneself.
Still almost everyone becones a victim to this because of sheer In-attention only.
श्रीमद्भगवद्गीता अध्याय ७ श्लोक २७;
Shrimadbhagvadgita,
chapter 7, verse 27;
Points out ;
इच्छाद्वेषसमुत्थेन द्वन्द्वमोहेन भारत।
सर्वभूतानि सम्मोहं सर्गे यान्ति परन्तप।।२७।।
The feeling : I'm Lost.
Is itself a self-contradictory idea.
No one can say this to one-self,
No-one, other than your-self could be an evidence to this and could point out this to you.
